Alternating copolymerization of carbon monoxide and vinyl arenes using [N,N] bidentate palladium catalysts

چکیده

The alternating copolymers of carbon monoxide (CO) and vinyl arene monomers, namely aromatic polyketones, are a family attractive engineering plastic. In the catalytic synthesis this kind polymeric materials, [N,N] bidentate palladium catalysts represent most successful systems. review, we introduce present status polyketone synthesis, with focus on polyketones made from CO. We also address palladium-catalyzed CO/vinyl copolymerization mechanism. A variety bearing 2,2?-bipyridine, 1,10-phenanthroline, ?-diimine, pyridine-imine ligands surveyed for copolymerization. effects monomer, counteranion, solvent discussed. stereochemistry including chain end-control enantiomorphic site control mechanisms is introduced. This review aims to promote design development high-performance polyketones.
